First off I wanna thank the Covenant House program for excepting new and my daughter when I was 19. It was a very good experience but some of the staff was nice and friendly and then there was a few that was rude and aggravating. But for the most part it was a nice place for young teenagers who are lost with no family, run aways and even the ones who are homeless. I truly appreciate the time that me and my daughter stayed. They really help with shelter, clothes, food, education,
daycare for babies, & older kids. When i was there they were giving help with bus cards for transportation. Vouchers for jobs and housing. But it's a process. You welcome to counseling and i think family therapy. It was a very beautiful site. You get to meetso many other peoplefrom around the world. I know i did. They also do nice things during the holidays. I really like the outside view, just so nice and peaceful. Very close to the beach and many different stores and restaurants. I enjoyed my experience there. Glad i had some where to go after thing they family drama and trauma. Thanks again Covenant House for your support. I pray other young adults that really need the help have a great experience also. Much love and many blessings to all ?

This place is horrible, they're always short staffed and most of the people who work here are unsympathetic, have no compassion or heart, and have nasty attitudes. Would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemy.

This place is awful omg you have smelly people inside of this shelter refusing to shower there’s mentally Ill people here as well. when I first got here the smell of piss struck my nose in the room. a fight broke out here and they have absolutely no resources for employment the staff also tried to make me look like I’m unproductive and I’ve only been here for 2-3 weeks trying to find employment.

Stayed here a few times when life was on the rougher side for me and these guys sucked at their job, kicked me out for water pills and didnt want to accept the fact they werent pills and said didnt have a way to find out and i told them ill take those pills to get them properly tested for any drug and they refused and kicked me out anyway, these guys dont follow their rules and contradict themselves religiously, mr manny if you still work here i hope your judgement/decision making has improved by then.

If you're looking for some where to go for help, go somewhere else. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. The staff takes their time helping you and they really don't care about you or anything. They discharge people just for fun, when they're supposed to be helping. if something goes wrong they don't investigate or ask question they just kick people to the curb. The place and rooms are dirty. Keep looking for another place, don't go here.

Allison is so kind & helpful beyond my expectations! This facility offers so much to help young adults become productive & get out on their own. Services like, free housing, meals, medical care and so much more. IF YOU NEED HELP DONT HESITATE, they will do what they can with love & kindness ❤️
This is a life saving program & there should be more places like this!
THEY CAN ALWAYS USE DONATIONS of all kinds like clothing, shoes & more... so if you can help call them to give back to your community.

I stayed here long ago when I was under 21 and homeless with a baby and leaving abusive/toxic parents. This place was terrible. Upon arrival I was forced to stay within the facility for two weeks while they performed sporadic assessments. I was then subjected to 6 weeks of unnecessary substance abuse treatment while being told I was in denial. I was kicked out several times for the smallest of reasons, such as being 5 minutes late to breakfast, all while being told that I needed "structure". They put on a happy face for donors who were invited in for the occasional gathering. They complained about crying babies but wouldnt allow me to take the child upstairs for a much needed nap time. Staff consisted of people with college degrees but no compassion. They like to play " good cop, bad cop" by having their own ombudsman that reviews your dismissal and lets you back in, only to repeat the cycle. This all culminated in a false positive drug test, yes they framed me to get rid of me for good. Luckily, I met a fellow resident who directed me to another shelter in another state, where I was able to get on my feet and I've been on my feet for 10 years. From the looks of the reviews, this place hasn't changed much. I hope that by sharing experiences, this place will no longer be able to fool generous donors who believe their money is being put to good use when it isn't.

they are working on eliminating people or referring electro shock therapy. they negotiated with Rick Gonzalez for terrorism. actively ignored privacy standards for clients and staff. regularly have their staff check up on you in your private life and keep data bugs on employees phone.
this is no place I recommend to christians
