It's such a shame I had to give this place the lowest rating because honestly, I wouldn't give it even one star if I had the choice. This place is supposed to be a safe haven for the community, but it's failing miserably. They don’t respect people’s belongings, and their schedules are super confusing I always missed breakfast because schedules were different every time. I ended up having to sleep on the streets just because I didn’t make it back in time when in reality they would give a way my bed. Not sure why they hated me so much . It’s disgusting how some people still manage to abuse others, even after they’ve been through so much. Honestly, they need to fire the entire staff and bring in people who really care and aren’t just in it for the donations.

When I got to the covenant house everyone was nice. Offering me things making sure I was showered and had everything I need. Then as just a little time went by I started to see what this place was really about. Yes there are a few staff that mean well but you have some staff members that have it out for certain individuals. Constantly trying to make your time even harder. Purposefully placing you in the room with the most manic people, and constantly trying to send things, people, and situations your way to disturb your peace. There's even staff members who were a threat to my saftey because they were communicating with people who wanted to harm me. Be safe

This is a good place to be if you are homeless they provide clothes food and services. The staff are messy but most of them are cool and will help you and be there for you if you build a good relationship with them. We get gift cards and prizes every 2 months or so they get donations so they are highly funded and have connections through outside services they only thing they need to follow is their own rule book cuz they make up rules as they go and will try to kick you out for the smallest things with no warning sometimes and they also favor certain people.

Love the idea but get better staff. The front desk ladies were so rude and unhelpful when I came in to literally donate. Because of this i tried to cancel my monthly automatic payments in February (it is now September) and they have never responded to my emails and keep charging even after I’ve contacted them to stop. Not crying over spilt milk but it’s the principle that really bothers me. I hope this place gets better as it is a needed service but bad vibes all around. I’ve found I feel better about donating to more grateful charities.
