This is the second time I've had to write a written complaint and I'm about to go to the manager of this transit.
I am very upset with how this system is run. The bus is always late, the bus drivers are so rude, the schedule is whack.
First if the schedule say its supposed to arrive at a certain time then it should, I understand it can get busy but whoever made the schedule obviously didn't bother to add space in between just in case the buses were late. And because of that when the bus finally does get to me, I've already missed the other bus that I needed to get to, to go to work and have to wait 30min- An Hour. I have work that I need to get to.
Second, the bus drivers. Extremely rude. The guy on the 7 who always wears shades and has grey hair and a grey beard with a baseball cap, yeah I'm calling you out. Multiple times I went on the 7 and tried to get off from the back door and he wouldn't open it. Then I witnessed a passenger wanting to get off in the front and he had the nerve to say, "you people need to learn how to take the back door." That's very conflicting.
A second time I went on the bus, I usually put my transfer in the slot and the bus driver throws it away, but this guy literally put his hands on me and pulled me back, spinning me around saying, "you need to throw that transfer in the trash yourself " of course I didn't know, if you politely told me to I would do it. You don't need to grip my shoulder tightly and be a total jerk about it.
Second bus driver, also on the 7, short Mexican guy with some facial hair. Doesn't seem like he enjoys his job whatsoever. He took a 20 minute break and I was already late to work by this time. He walks by like nothing to talk to some passangers, one of those passenger says he was late and this guy shrugs it off and continues to talk to them! I was nearly going to blow my top because this has happened multiple times. But I kept my mouth shut because I'm afraid that he wouldn't let me on the bus after I've waited over an hour for him to decide he wants to get back to work.
A couple months ago my boyfriend was on the bus with another bus driver who was African american, unfortunately I don't have anymore details to pin point the driver but apparently the bus driver couldn't wait to use the restroom so he made my boyfriend wait while he stopped off at his homies pad to use the restroom. My boyfriend had to complain to the manager at the transit and when they contacted the bus driver they made my boyfriend apologize! And the bus driver was telling my boyfriend off and making him feel like crap for it.
Last but not least the schedule, if you're going to give the bus drivers breaks at the worst possible time while their already late then add it to the schedule so the passengers know when their going to be late. It is extremely ridiculous for the bus drivers to be late and then take a random break of 15 minutes or more or how ever long they feel like it. People need to get places, plan out a better schedule!
The schedule on the website and the schedule at the transit are different. For instances, the website used to says the 2 should get to where I am at, at 2:20. But it changed to 2:17. But the bus never gets there at 2:17. At the transit it says 2:20. Which one is it?
I'm pretty sure this will never get reviewed or taken into consideration but at least I tried.
