Our firm is located in Denver. As importers of ocean freight, I was immensely impressed with the communications, precision and professionalism of Tran International Trucking after we engaged them in May 2023. We had three rather challenging tasks regarding four shipments. Two shipments were LCL, and two FCL - each arriving in the port of Long Beach.

Tran International Trucking was asked to (i) pick up each load, either at port or the CFS station, (ii) bring the goods back to their warehouse for transload and sorted the outdoor furniture, and (iii) with their own trucks and drivers, they then delivered the goods from Compton to Denver on two 53-foot vans. We had deadlines and the loading was complicated. They met or beat the deadlines.

Each phase, the drayage or pick-up, the unloading and reloading and OTR delivery was timely and flawless. Communications from sales, dispatch, warehouse and billing was impeccable. Pricing was competitive, while their service made by life easier.

Trust them. I do.

I have been working here for just over a year. I started driving trucks 30 years ago. After my last two positions where you weren't sure about getting your pay on time and maybe not at all it's very refreshing to work at a place where you can count on your pay being in your account on time, everytime. I get along very well with my dispatcher Emiliano and as any driver can attest, that is crucial to things running smooth. Great place to work.

Trans International is more than just a trucking company they are a family. Always willing to go the extra mile to help lend a hand. Dispatcher Emilio always has a positive mindset and a go getter attitude. One of the best decisions I've made in my life was giving these fellas a call

OTR drivers: The worst OTR job I’ve ever had. I was an owner operator/independent contractor and promised a dedicated rout from Rancho Dominguez (LA) to Mississippi (Canton). Only did that rout a few times. Met other drivers that where also promised dedicated routes but lied to. Try not to blow a recap tire on their trailers out of business hours, you’ll be stranded until someone arrives in the morning. Pay is on the very low point on the scale, specially for an owner operator/owning your own rig. Cross your fingers and hope you don’t have any mechanical issues because you won’t make enough for the repairs. You’ll be pushed and pulled around as if you’re a company driver!
The owner (Danny) is VERY condescending and will talk down to you even on the most simplest questions. His personality is highly reflected on the dispatchers when calling in for a load. Lots of miscommunication in the office where the left hand doesn’t know what the right hands doing which is incredibly frustrating for an owner operator on the road and picking up/dropping off a load. There seems to always be an issue with the load and it’s never streamlined as it should be. Again, very frustrating specially when it causes you to sit for the weekend/holidays almost every time :/ you’re not getting paid.
You WILL NOT get your $1,500.00 deposit back!! At first they will make up some excuse and then they will not pick up the phone when they see your number on caller ID.
They say they’ve been in business for the last 25 years but in reality it’s only 6. Smoke and mirrors as usual. Hopefully This post will help other owner ops out there make a better informed decision. Good luck!

Buenas suerte!

Dispatchers make a lot of errors. If your an owner operator you’ll be spending a lot of time at the trouble window try to resolve issues just to get rejected from the terminals. Lots of unmotivated dispatchers with no over site, who don’t double check their work.

HORRIBLE COMPANY!! drivers look somewhere else . This company will screw you over! The owner doesn’t care about the drivers, he is certain to put you through a hardship. He advertises on Craigslist that he has a lot of work and he doesn’t. False advertisement at its finest. DO NOT WORK HERE ..

There’s a REVIEW BELOW BY the name of GEORGE.. He couldn’t have said it any better.. 100% TRUE

This outfit is ran by a different culture and they will work you over the legal hours for 3 days straight. Be prepared for them to give you a day off so that they won't pay you overtim . If your dispatcher is elmer tenas I feel sorry for you. Would never go back and will never recommend this place. But go at your own risk. Too many better opportunities in the trucking busines .
