I enjoyed riding the VIA Bus routes that I did during my recent, yet short, visit to San Antonio. The drivers were friendly, and the buses were quiet, inside and out. I collected some schedules to have as souvenirs.

I thought it would be nice to not drive park my car and use public transportation as I sat at the bench for the bus a transit officer approached me and asked to see what was in my bag I said I don't understand why you wish to look into my bag she replied that I suspect you have beer in your back my reply is I never drink beer and there is no beer in my bag so there's no reason to search me I was then told if I wanted to use public transportation she would have to search my bag I called a Lyft told her if you want to look in my bag then call the police I am appalled that I actually try to use public transportation and I get harassed by those who supposedly are to moderate. I guess dressing in khakis in a dress shirt makes me look suspicious because I'm alone with a bag VIA via you have absolutely no Scruples and your staff needs to be trained on how to treat people and not act upon suspicions but proof...Never use VIA if visiting or well never.

VIA is still stuck in the horse and buggy days. As the ,7th largest city in the US how sad that we do not have a rail system. Buses are slow scheduled once an hour in the heat - I wonder if anybody your management or employee even ride the bus. It's just okay nothing to be impressed about

Bus rider since April 2009. Utilize every day of week. Only time don't ride is during hospital stays. In March 2017 I rodé bus to Audie Murphy VA ER , heart attack. Tough confusing keeping up with so many changes. Majority of VIA employees are friendly. Many consumate professionals.

Very clean and nice place. You can find bus schedules and the ticket office is there if you need more assistance.

The bus driver for 93 was racial as he did not let me on the bus and acted like he didn’t see me sitting at the bus stop. Very disappointed as an African American that’s not even from here . I thought racism was over but Texas has always shown me different

This bus driver just ditched a bike at Northstar. Rather than taking it to lost and found or giving to security so they can lock it up at Northstar till Monday morning, he ditches it. Someone obviously forgot it. Things lost on the bus still go to lost and found, right?

Tues April 2 2024 north Star transit center on san Pedro is apparently under remodeling and renovations and have a lot of maintenance men there working on the inside restrooms and waiting area. There were no signs posted on the entry and exit doors to notify the customers who ride via and were coming and going from there. The young lady working there today as security guard, very confrontational and abrupt and was kicking people out of the waiting area as soon as we walk in. But how were we supposed to know about the remodeling of the bathrooms and all those maintenance men. They never posted any signs saying we can't wait there. I understand she was just trying to do her job and let others know they can't be inside there. But her whole approach was very off putting and rude. I called via customer service and voiced a concern about that. They were the ones who notified me of the remodeling of the bathrooms there. But via should have posted a few signs on the doors to let people know upon arrival of what is happening
