Few months before I left Athens after Grad school, I asked the church I attended for recommendations and Christ Covenant came up more than once. Also, I knew a very good friend, Jeremy Brooks who was a part of the church. I’m really glad I followed their recommendations because my family and I were able to find a Christ-centered community with so little hassle considering that we were moving from a college town to a city.

I’m impressed by the drive, creativity and singleminded approach the church has adopted to see their members like me know the gospel and actively live it out in my community. Really glad to be a part of the body and their vision for the gospel in the city of Atlanta.

Coming from mixed church experiences in the past, finding Christ Covenant was a godsend. Not only am I challenged in my faith in all the best ways, but I also feel loved and cared for by the staff and the church. Despite having its flaws (like every other church), CC is dedicated to Christ and making him known daily. Also the most emotionally healthy church I think I’ve ever been to.

We were fortunate enough to be introduced to this incredible church last fall. We immediately were struck by the people and Pastor Jason’s intentional and welcoming approach. We joined shortly after the first of the year and have been involved in weekly small groups as well as other areas of ministry service. I recently stumbled across this church from a friend’s recommendation and I think I’ve found my new home. I joined a community group and recognize people during the services (9a, 11a, and 5p). Plus, the Senior Pastor (Jason Dees) is super approachable and makes really great points during his sermons on the bema (ancient word, also a solid podcast — look it up). Looking forward to what the future holds at Christ Covenant!

My husband and I have loved attending Christ Covenant! The church leaders prioritize gospel clarity, intentional community, and family worship. If you have children, I also recommend Covenant Kids! It is a safe and fun environment for your children to interactively learn biblical truths.

The toughest part about visiting a new church is getting in your car, driving to a new place, and walking through the door. Once you are here, you will find Gospel centered teaching, faithful discipleship, welcoming community, and hot coffee! This organization is so intentional about building lasting relationships and walking through life together. My wife and I have made great friends and are excited about the adventures to come.
