Visited COV for lunch during a week day in early September. It was busy but there were plenty of staff. One of us ordered the Half Sandwich (French Dip) and soup, and the other ordered the wedge salad and clam chowder. All items were very tasty and were a good size for lunch. The patio is so fantastic and I love seeing all the plants - great people watching too! Our server was extremely attentive and friendly.

The atmosphere was relaxing and delightful.
We had Sunday brunch. The caramel roll was perfect.
The biscuit and gravy packed a little heat to them. The meal felt a little salty but was offset with the fruit cup that came with it, which was nice.
My friend found her dish to be wonderful.

Our experience here was great! Came in on a Sunday night with a party of 8 and got seated immediately! The staff were so polite and gave us so many recommendations on what to eat and drink! The food was very delicious, with the waiting time on the food not being very long which was very good! The waitress’s checked on us very often and refilled our drinks often as well when needed! The bathrooms are very clean and neat. Will continue to come here occasionally as it is quite pricey as expected but worth every penny! We will be back!

Delicious! Fresh sushi ? huge portions- salads and double pork chop. Service was really poor, no attentuon to detail: we sat looking at our eaten oysters floating in ice bath until our salads came. We were missing silverware and waited a very long time for drinks. Given the prices here I would expect better and more attentive, professional service.

Was there for happy hour and the environment was awesome and the specials for food are very good. Note, you have to be seated in the bar for the happy hour specials. The drinks were tasty and well poured, and our server was very attentive and friendly. the sushi rolls were large, but not quite five stars, the Buffalo shrimp are huge and not expected but unbelievably good. Overall great happy hour place with a really nice atmosphere.

We had a wonderful dinner at COV. They don't take reservations. It is a bit 'noisy' at the table with a bunch of background noise which made conversations with our table of six challenging. Our table enjoyed the crab cake appetizer for $29. For entrees we had the seared scallops $40, the lobster tortellini $41, the cioppino $53, the bbq rotisserie chicken and a Burger. Everyone seemed delighted with their entree choice. Most agreed the scallops and tortellini would merit a return visit. We were able to share with each other. The pink lady and almond joy martini were my favorite. Others enjoyed the old fashions and the espresso martinis. The s'more cake and key lime pie were also yummy for dessert. There is a good drop off location with a cover for rain protection close to the front door of the restaurant. It is not an inexpensive night out but it was good. The staff was very attentive. The waitress gave us some tips on her favorites on theenu which everyone found helpful. Thanks!

I have been to the Cov a few times but decided to write a review for this visit.

The Cov is a great place for lunch as well as dinner. It feels both modern and tradional at the same time. It can definitely get busy and wait times can vary but once you get in its worth it.

I ordered a cov burger while my partner ordered the lobster roll. We didnt see anywhere on the menu that indicated included sides so we ordered truffle fries. When our meals arrived both had fries so we got twice the fries.

Both meals were delicious and exactly what we expected. We also got great drinks. They were able to customize easily.

After the meal we got the smores brownie ala mode. It was huge, so it was good to share. Even then we didnt quite finish. Desserts are definitely HUGE so be aware.

All in all, Cov is a great place for a date or business meal.

Recommend!

I really can’t recommend Cov based in this first time visit. While the ambiance is impressive and matches the high end vibe of the establishment, the food was disappointing. I’ve had much better (and far more reasonably priced) calamari at lower end restaurants. Ours arrived basically lukewarm/barely lukewarm which absolutely did not help the taste factor. I was eating overly priced, overly greasy, limp calamari - I wanted to send this back to the kitchen but it was Friday night and the place was packed. I didn’t want to come across as difficult.

The lukewarm theme continued with my roasted root salad. I was so dismayed to see my main entree arrive in a similar temperature state as the appetizer. This was so unappealing and again, certainly not worth the price tag if my food arrives at the table feeling like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp way too long that it’s lost the freshness factor.

My friend ordered a seafood pasta of sorts and it looked amazing but beyond that, I don’t know if it arrived temperature hot. I didn’t ask her - I was too under impressed by this point that it was like “whatever, I don’t see myself coming back unless it’s happy hour.”

Sorry to leave a bad review but if a restaurant can’t deliver 2 dishes at the right temperature, that ‘s a big disappointment.
