Located midway between London and Birmingham on a major railway route, the station plays a vital role for both regional and long-distance travelers. The station is an important stop on the West Coast Main Line, providing connections to major cities. It was originally opened in 1838 as part of the London and Birmingham Railway. The current station building was rebuilt in 1962 in a modernist architectural style, reflecting the design trends of the time. The sttation has played a significant role in the economic and industrial growth of the region through continuous facility improvements and route expansions. Plans for a future connection to High Speed 2 (HS2) are currently under consideration.

I recently traveled through Coventry train station and had a fantastic experience. The station is clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. The signage is clear, making it simple to find your platform or connect to other transport options. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. I was especially impressed by the range of amenities available, including shops and cafes that make waiting for your train much more comfortable. Overall, Coventry station offers a smooth and pleasant travel experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it again

The location is good. Transportation is not too difficult.
The area size is good.
Things like staff and information are lacking and problematic.
The station is cold in the winter months and seating areas are limited. It is also insufficient for needs such as food and cafes. It needs to be developed.

This station is a good size and deals well with the high volume of people that pass through. The four platforms are well signposted. The station is clean and well-maintained, and there is a shopping park very close. The station is well-connected by bus, and there is ample (expensive) parking nearby. The station is not as easily accessible for pedestrians (no southern entrance), and platform 4 cannot be accessed directly.

Good size station, but it lacks warm waiting rooms. Platform 4 was the only waiting room with the heating on.
Trains were all running on time and plenty of staff around to help at the ticket machines. Didn't realise they have a 20min policy on tickets. So they don't let you in if your more than 20min early for your train. Only 4 platforms. With platform 2 and 3 sharing the middle isle. Lifts going to all platforms and plenty of screens for train times

Decent station, friendly staff and retro 60,s architecture. The extension is a bit pointless, on the side that is out the way and therefore little used and needed. Little footfall hence retail units not let after 2 years. Only greggs and Sainsbury's. Again nice station and lovely staff.

This was a fantastic station to both arrive and depart at, with appropriately sized platforms! The station has a throwback design in multiple areas and navigation is easy using the various signs; information is also clearly provided by the departure boards. A Christmas tree up was a lovely addition, the staff were helpful with any problems, the bridge is a smooth link between platforms and cleanliness had been maintained!
