Called last time to ask for help and the lady on the phone was so rude
she was questioning in to why I fled to go London when I told her I need to come back to Coventry now that the perpetrator is away but he has family and friends in London
She said well why did you fled to London then ? I told her because I wasn’t from England and the only people I had outside of Coventry was in London . She said well we can’t do nothing because there’s not enough housing so call council or a refuge
It’s the first time since I’m fleeing DV that someone spoke to me like that
It should be a safe place to ask for help and advices . Not judgement day . Learn how to speak to vulnerable people and if you can’t you should find an other job !!!!!

Amazing people and working in extreme conditions. Support them whenever you are able. If it weren't for them l would not be alive. They support women and children in Coventry escaping domestic violence and coercive control.
