I am disappointed with this church. I began asking about 2-3 months ago while watching the Sunday service to schedule a time to meet with the private pastor, Waylon. I was contacted by a minister, Glynn Robinson and met with him at the church. After that, I emailed Glynn several more times and no response. I have left a message on the church phone and also requested live to meet with Waylon and also requested prayer. No response about meeting with Waylon but received a response from both a male, Kevin Schill and female, Brandiabout how they could Pray for me and received no further response. Trouble signing on last week. I was wondering with so much talent in the church why it's not rotated as opposed to the same guy with his guitar over and over and over. Today I didn't ask to meet with anyone nor any questions. My intent at this time is to quietly attend and look for another church.

I've been attending First Baptist Church in Covington for some time now, and overall, I've had a pleasant experience. I usually go on Saturdays, and it's nice that there aren't too many people around, making it a more intimate setting.

Do not be fooled. This church puts PROFIT before their people. They have decided to put a 200 ft tall 5G cell phone tower on top of their baseball field and recreation that emits radiation 24/7. This is dangerous and can cause ill health effects and cancer in people, especially the children that attend the daycare and kids that play sports there on a daily basis.
Apparently money comes first for them at the end of the day before the health of the people.

Was so excited for my grandson to attend the junior high retreat this past weekend. His Mom said he was excited about it. I had to hear from him myself. We talked last night and it wasn't just the activities. He was sharing with me what scriptures he learned and the conversation. How awesome is God!

I have lived next door to First Baptist of Covington for 24 years in the Timber Branch Subdivision. This church is leasing their land to ATT for MONEY to put up a cell tower. This tower , unbeknownst to the neighborhood, is less than 200 feet from our neighborhood homes. The safety zone is 1320 feet away from any home. This Godless church doesn't care for their neighbors and the innocent animals in the environment. This tower will emit radiation for 24/7. It is well known that these towers cause numerous illnesses, such as cancer.
Personally, this church deserves a negative one star for poor judgement and not following the teachings of Jesus to love your neighbor.

I’ve been coming since I was little and no church can match the collective energy there. And Dr. Bailey is the best pastor I’ve met. His sermons are always very touching, easy to understand, and just what I needed to hear, even when i was a kid. Amazing people. Amazing lessons. Best place to worship.
