Called in why my pick up is over an hour late. Only to find out, my driver took a break before I was supposed to be picked up. While I understand that everyone needs to take a break between work and such, you can’t just say I’ll be on this part of the list and then next thing you know, I’m late to wherever I need to go to.

Incredible service to our area! I recently used this public transportation service, traveling frond Fresno to Reedley via the Orange Cove route. Super inexpensive! The bus is more modified charter than a traditional city bus-comfortable seating and well air conditioned. The vehicle offers ample storage for those needing to travel to do shopping out of their home community. Bus was very punctual and driver helpful and friendly. Was very excited to find this travel option-my husband was out of town with our share vehicle and the service allowed me the opportunity to make it to my nieces last softball game of the season.
My only complaint is the website. As a frequent and seasoned FAX commuter I am a savvy public transportation customer. However, the “schedule/guide” published via the agency website isn’t user friendly. I also hope that the agency considers adding weekend service as this could be extremely beneficial for employment opportunities and general connectivity for those without other transportation options.

On Mount Whitney in Lanare last week I watched an elderly man struggle while trying to run after the transit bus because the driver missed where the stop is. The fact that the elderly man was running (along a very busy Mt Whitney) makes me think the riders like him are left if they don't run to the bus. The site of this elderly person struggling was heart breaking so I gave him a ride to the bus that was on the side of a very busy road. This has been reported to the people that are suppose to oversee this transport. I hope they do their job and serve the public.

Many residents in from Lanare, Mendota and Kerman spoke up at the Measure C meeting and discussed that many times the rural transit is violating ADA by allowing buses to run for months without wheel chair access. One woman from Mendota decribed how she needed an ambulance to transport her husband for an appointment in Fresno because these buses are not services promptly. I hope this goes reported to proper state and federal agencies, then there might be a change.

I have to say that our transportation system just made our day. My customer who rides the bus routes had a minor incident where he almost stumbled onto the wrong bus.
