I didn't want to give 1 Star but that's the only way I could leave this review.
How would you feel sending your precious little ones to school knowing the bus that will transfer them is disgusting? My son's school use this company for scheduled field trips and there's always an issue. Today's issue 10/6/23.. the original bus broke down so we ( had to wait over an hour for a replacement and once the replacement came the bus was disgusting. I mean trash on the floor, gnats flying around, unknown substances on the seat. And the driver was rude.

I called the bus company because I notice my son bus was in the same spot for over 30 mins and in the citizens app show there was a bus accident in the same location. The operator lied to me and told me the bus was running behind

As a parent I’m suppose to trust you to inform me of anything that happens and you lie to me this is ridiculous

You would think a school bus driver would know that once a bus stops and the stop sign was out that you cannot pass on either side especially on a one way street. My sons school bus stopped and luckily I saw how fast this AHole was going because I stopped. The door on my sons bus opened and the grandpa co bus driver decided to take advantage of the empty side of the street and pass my sons bus even though that’s against the law. Luckily the bus matron didn’t step down but the door was opened because she was going to. He just looked at us like we were crazy even though he didn’t even slow down at all. He’s a danger to the children on that bus, on my sons bus and on the street. If there wasn’t a car trying to park at the end of the block, I’m sure he wouldn’t have even stopped for the intersection.

This is one of the worst bus companies I have ever deal with.. The bus drivers are alway late from putting up the kids in the morning or they are late dropping the kids off.. and when you call some of bus dispatches are very rude and nasty. Ever in my life I will use this bus company ever again or like reference them to anybody to use for there children… it sad.

The incompetence of this office is baffling to me, they miss pick ups frequently, their drivers are generally have nasty attitudes. The best is today the bus driving my 6 year old son home broke down, my wife waiting an hour, took me 20 minutes to get someone on the phone where they tell me bus broke down and will be at least 40 minutes to get the kids. The fact that you allow parents to sit and wonder for an hour where there child is, 1 because as they state "they don't have parents information" then get it you morons. Secondly, it took 20 minutes just to get a human voice to tell me where my child is. What we saw on the news recently is undoubtedly true, they are that incompetent.

09/05/18 My son's first day of school as a 5th grader at I.S.227Q The Louis Armstrong Middle school & the Grandpa's bus company didn't show up. The school couldn't reach the bus company, I called and couldn't reach anyone and other parents that I know, they couldn't reach it too. I called the Office of Pupil Transportation and I couldn't get anyone either. It just made us feel helpless. Today, 09/06/18 the bus showed up late and didn't leave the school until it was 3:18pm, that's 48 mins after 2:30 dismissal...by the time he was dropped off at his stop it was around 4:20pm.

I was tracking my son's phn and watched the bus gets closer, then farther, then closer then farther. If your driver doesn't know the route then do a dry run of the route beforehand! It is not safe to just keep going on circles. Is it because the driver is new? if so, that's not an excuse. Most of the students are new too to the school and this is their first time taking the bus too...stop traumatizing these students & do your job. When my son finally arrived at Forest Hills stop, he was very upset, crying, drenched from the sweats and shaking! It was heartbreaking. He said he was scared because it was loud on the bus and he was confused because the bus driver didn't know where the students stops are and the older kids were yelling at the bus driver telling him that he was going on the wrong way. What an awful experience & what a terrible service! This Grandpa's bus company should not exist.

Recently had a situation where the bus was 45 minutes late for drop off, yet the school is less than a 10 minute drive. When I called to inquire about the where about of my child, I was given attitude and a brush off. Granted I did not have my child evening route number and I couldn't obtain from the school ( the person who gives that information out had already left for the day), I could have been and should have been helped in some way. Being a concerned parent and with today's technology, I can't believe that a flipping bus route number stood in the way of finding out the where about and safety of my child. You can't have an employee with a lackadaisical attitude work for a company that deals with kids. They need to come up with a better answer than " I can't help you if you don't have an routing number " especially when other alternative could have been used. If I had it my way this company would get zero stars.
