MST offers FREE trolley service from Fisherman's Wharf & Monterey marina area to Cannery Row and Monterey Bay Aquarium. Another route goes through downtown.
The Trolley runs daily during summer months and weekends/holidays through the year. During heavy tourist season the Trolley runs every 15 minutes. The Trolley is equipped to service folks with special needs.

I want to thank our driver on route 23 north bound Friday 4-20 -018 ,estimated time this event happened 6:25 pm. Thank you for being alert and safely driving me to my destination on time. Our driver just avoided what could of be a accident. Leaving Gonzales another vehicle made a sharp right turn and quickly butted its vehicular in front of the bus. Our driver had the right away,even with the glaring sun in his eye,his professional skills averted a accident. Thankfully I will be able to make ally connections on time. Thank you again.

This company gets it done.
However, more portable restrooms are needed more than ever. Is there any chance I can be your Grant Writer or Requestor? I can get Federal Funding for you. Also, what do you have against a split 3 axle bus? It is longer and economically viable than having to put another bus and driver in service. What does maintenance have against adding new shocks on the rear axles of buses
Add more Wi-Fi and USB outlet ports please. Bring back a New and Improved 3 axle charter bus too please. So that there is more than one way in and out. It is illegal in CA. to operate a bus that has only one way in and one way out.

Busses do not connect and stop too early. The worst PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN ANY COUNTY IN CA. OR IN ANY COUNTRY ON THE GLOBE. WIFI SHOULD BE ADDED, BUSES EVERY 1/2 HR. THROUGHOUT FROM PRESTON PARK TO BIG SUR AND PEBBLE ⛱! SUPPORT YOUR STORES AND LOCAL RESIDENCE! MAKE THE BUS SYSTEM A REAL SERVICE NOT THE JOKE OF CALIFORNIA!@!

Busses from monterey to Salinas need to communicate more to allow customers to connect to other lines when they are being late, busses could be cleaner, most bus lines are on time, I finally gave up on taking the city busses the amount of dust build up and disgusting seats, they seem to not have a staff to maintain there busses I don't want to imagine how many germs and bacteria is lurking around.

As far as I know, MPC students/staff can ride the MST for free as long as they have their college ID. Courtesy of the College to help their students and staff.
