If wasn’t for the distance between Line 1 and 2 transfer (3 minutes walk) and streetcar shutting down for cable upgrade, Spadina would be the best transfer station on Line 1 and 2.

But for now that honour goes to St. George, don’t have to walk far to transfer.

Better than Bloor-Yonge though

This is one of the Terminal Station for TTC Subway Line 2 ( EAST - WEST ) and Line 1 ( North - South ) Intersection stations. Too much walking distance between line 2 & Line 1 Stations and Both same name. It's really uncomfortable & not the great design. Other Terminal stations are St.Geroge and Bloor & Yonge stations are quicker to change line 1 & line 2 Trains. Four different entrances to this Station and Streetcar South to Toronto China Town to Union station and Bus North to Casa Loma. Convenience store ' Gateway On the Go ' available in this station at Lower Level. Not the best convenience store for this busiest TTC station and TTC should consider having better Convenience store. Spadina station is one of the tourist attractions TTC subway station. No Washroom facilities. No Parking. Accessible, Bicycle lock-up, Bicycle repair stand, Bike Share
Cellular enabled and Wi-Fi available. Wheelchair accessible great for East and West Train.

I’ve been commuting from Spadina for quite sometime. There are better and revamped subway stations but I liked it as it has a Streetcar station right inside the station. Very handy for everyone who commutes from streetcar towards Union station/Queens Quay. The TTC staff on site are helpful as well to guide you in the right direction if you’re not able to figure out the way out.

Lately in the past few months this station turns into a dystopian hellscape after dark. Every night after 10 this place is full of cops, security, and tons of sketchy people pissing and smoking outside and trying to camp in the station, as the emergency services people try to deal with the chaos. This station in particular is bad for this, for some reason it concentrates at this location. Avoid this station at night it is not safe. Bathurst 1 stop over isn't as bad.

Nice big station but it is a waste of time when people are using the path just to change lines. They either have to reinstall the moving walkway or people can get off at St George station and then they interchange.

Spandina is always a happening street. From Queen to College. Variety of bars, shops, restaurants, and crawl spaces to have a cold one and party into the morning hours. Grossman and El Macambo are just stagger apart? ?. Have fun, be safe. And always be civil and respectful towards each other

Typical station but they seriously need to enforce streetcar fare payments. I've been on the 510 streetcar over 200 times and I've never seen any sort of fare inspection upon entering the station. Why should I continue to pay higher fares when half the passengers on the streetcar get on for free?
