Unless you’re extremely desperate, as I was, don’t ride with this service.

I bought a very last minute ticket from Virginia Beach, VA to be dropped off in Manhattan, NY. I might have purchased it an hour before departure for $40 when other trains, planes, and buses exceeded $200. Purchasing the ticket and boarding the bus was easy. Too easy. The driver didn’t even scan in my ticket… he just took a picture of it with his cell. First red flag.

The bus was extremely dirty and outdated but I figured I was getting what I paid for. The outlets they advertise? There’s only one small one in the front of the bus.

Forty minutes in, a man throws up all over himself. I assumed we were pulling over to tend to him. The driver just picked up more passengers. There was no effort to tend to the sick or clean his vomit.

We continued driving, they switched drivers three times in less than two hours. It seemed very sketchy and I am not entirely sure these men were licensed to drive such massive vehicles.

I personally went inside of a store to gather supplies, provided the man who threw up with paper towel and hand sanitizer, and sprayed disinfectant all over his belongings. The same man went outside to smoke a cigarette but didn’t care to throw out his own pungent paper towels and waste so I had to. The driver took no initiative to help me, let alone thank me.

I am still on the bus with roughly three more hours to go. Passengers in the back requested the A/C be put on. The driver put on the HEAT. So now there’s heat blasting on all of us while the vomit is still on the floor. There are no windows for circulation and he’s basically boiling the vomit in the air. All of us are susceptible to whatever sickness or virus from the vomit is now airborne and being heated up, simply because he didn’t tend to it when it first happened and the following drivers didn’t care.

We stopped in Washington DC to pick up more passengers, he forced a Black man to show him his ID, although nobody else was asked to provide identification for this ride.

I will update over the next few hours. But this bus is a nightmare. The drivers spoke little to no English, which wouldn’t matter if communication between the driver and passengers weren’t vital.

Again, I would give it 1 star but $40 from Virginia to New York is exceptional. Be made aware that you pay for EXACTLY what you’re getting.

Update, it’s 6:52. We are roughly ten minutes away from the stop. There’s a fight that’s broken out in the back. One person within the fight admitted to carrying a gun and the driver did nothing but threaten to summon an officer. Somebody (who didn’t have the N word pass) dropped the N word when scolding the group of people (who all happened to have the N word pass) that was fighting. This bus is a hot mess, it still smells repulsive, I really just want to take a shower, but this was definitely an experience I wish to never repeat and will laugh at in the future…

Wear jeans and a jacket. Have your skin completely covered because it’s likely you’ll pick up a staph infection by simply sitting on the bus. I am not exaggerating.

The bus stop was across a 4 Lane street from where the website said. Luckily there were other people that used the service before who were in the correct spot. We booked Albany NY to NYC and back for 4 people. The bus on the way back never pulled to the pick up location or announced itself, my son thought to go ask the bus up the block and around a corner if they were going to Albany and the driver said yes. Pretty sure they left folks at the actual stop as once we boarded they left. Otherwise, pricing was good, all outlets worked. Never used the bathroom but hubby said it was tragic.

Now I am a “hard person to please” with that being said I will say Wanda Coach is better than Greyhound bus services. Wanda coaches seats recline, drivers are mindful of passengers, garbage disposal needs are placed (plastic garbage bags) on each seat handle for customers use, prices are more than reasonable, and they will get you where you need to go without constantly asking passengers to exit bus, you can sleep and you can rest without interruption. What I didn’t like was dropping us off at a different location than 103 Canal St. in the wee hours of the morning, but I’m told this was due to “the street being cut off.“ It seems bathrooms on these buses will reek of strong urine, and whatever bodily functions that enter in.
Other than that If I need to travel ever without driving my car, it would be with Wanda Coach 8/25 Sunday-8/27 Tuesday traveled.
I will also add that a customer from the culture constantly fed me their food on the bus, not all are bad. I was very pleased to have traveled and returned home using Wanda Coach bus service.

It skipped its Baltimore stop in the middle of the night, leaving me (and another passenger) stranded at cold weather. Mind you, I had a ticket. Now i have a cold as a result. bbbus departs from the same lot and saved me. Probably, it's a common occurrence. Take it only from the place of origination, don't take from the stopover stops. Customer Service works only in the daytime. All i needed is upfront info. They shouldn't sell tickets for the rides, which will never occur, im sure they have the info.

Pay the extra money for a good bus service(FlixBus). This company has consistently picked up riders late and are highly known for arriving later then projected expected time. Always. Never ever any wife outlets. Just usb ports on the CEILING. 80 percent of the Buses our crazy dirty and outdated. Definitely get what you pay for with Wanda bus.

Leaving from NY was fine, except on our ticket destination was different from where they dropped us off at. Which is fine, when we contact the company to confirm drop off spot and pick up spot returning home, they replied right away. Now, coming home from V.A was a different story. First off they picked us up on time. But as soon as you walk in on the bus, you smelled the urine from the bathroom. So we sat close to the front of the bus. Seats were dirty with food crumbs and garbage all over the floor. Some of the charging ports didn't work and whenever the bus hits a bump the your phone charger cord would fall out and the power is so weak you will not get a full charge on your phone. Next, we mounted the bus at 9 am, it left a little earlier, which was fine. He made a few stops in V.A, then in Maryland, then made a rest stop in Delaware, not till about 4:30. pm. So I traveled for 7 hours without a rest or food stop. Absolutely no consideration for the passengers on the bus. So finally in Delaware and we have only 15 minute to get food and use the bathroom. Now he's rushing us and now I'm super pissed, because there other bus companies making rest stop also and we have only 15 f!@#$ minutes !!! ...I will never ride with them again. If you looking for a cheap bus ride, this company is for you, just remember you get what you paid for. So bring you own toilet tissue, bathroom wipes, air freshener and especially hand sanitizer. I watched a little boy sneezed on the window and washed the window with his snot ! ... Oh yeah and some bug spray too, there's fruit flies everywhere on the bus. Disgusting !!!

These people are extremely rude!!!! My child got on the 9:30am bus Sunday morning, she got off in Baltimore a little after 1pm . My daughter realized her phone was left on the bus . I called the company . The representative instructed me to fill out a form on the site under the lost and found section, which I did. I was told someone would contact me via email………no one did. The whole time im tracking the phone and I see the bus is coming back to New York so I stayed up tracking the phone and met the bus back at the same place it picked up my child from. The driver got off the bus and I began to explain the situation he had an attitude and screamed at me he don’t know nothing, which lets me know the company never notified him of the situation. I waited for the rest of the people to get off the bus then I went on to get the phone again the driver is screaming and I’m telling him the phone is on the bus . He begins to take off as I’m looking for the phone. I found the phone and he had the nerve to ask me if that’s the phone ?!?!?!? Never using this service .

Absolutely disappointing. I can’t even express how disappointed I am in this company, I was told the bus would depart from Stafford at 12:45am so I arrived at 12 am and went to fill my tank and park my vehicle. The bus arrived at 12:05am and did not even wait for 5 minutes and took off without my family. I called customer service and they told me to reschedule my ticket in the morning.
