Cab driver Y19B blamed us for not knowing where the address we are going to even though he picked us up at the airport knowing we are tourists. When I realized he was going in the wrong direction we pointed it out and he straight up said it’s all your fault and asked us how are we going to compensate him for his lost time. The trip on Google from Airport to where he mistakenly went and then to my address is 16 min in total and he insisted that we wasted 45 min of his time. I’m at lost words. He also didn’t put on his meters when we got on the cab. Will NEVER use this service again. DO NOT recommend to anyone. Just Uber instead much better

YELLOW CAB DRIVER ABUSE.

On Friday June 28, 2024 around 1:40pm I was pumping gas at Super Saver on 12 av & Clark when I was terrorized by a Yellow Cab taxi driver.
I was at the pump #8 right next to propane pump and another pump in-use by another driver ahead of me. Because our 2 cars were both SUVs there wasn’t much room at the pumps for more vehicles.
At one point while I was in the middle of pumping gas a Yellow Cab Taxi (minivan) pulled over next to my car, the cab driver got out of the cab and started screaming at me in some foreign language. He looked very angry and agitated.
I asked him what’s the matter and he just lost it and screamed at the top of his lungs “MOVE!” He was very angry and he didn’t understand the entire situation at the pump. He wanted to unload his irritation at someone. Oddly enough, the Yellow Cab Taxi driver didn’t harass the male driver at the pump ahead of me. He chose to bully a female.
No wonder almost 3 thousand people in Vancouver are dissatisfied with the Yellow Cab Taxi giving them 2.2 overall ratings.
I’ll make sure to never use Yellow Cab Taxi.

We booked a taxi in Vancouver but needed two for our group. The first Taxi said he would arrange a second taxi but after 15 minutes waiting realised it wasn't coming. A Taxi pulled up nearby and thinking that this was the one we were waiting for tried to ask the driver, if he'd been sent for us. There were lots of people waiting for taxis. This was the most rudest, arrogant and dangerous taxi driver, I've ever encountered. He put his hand in my face and rudely said, do you want a taxi or not. I wasnt able to talk to him so pointed to where we were waiting. As I passed in front of his parked car, he drove off nearly striking me with the taxi. The car tyre nearly run over my foot andI confronted him about his dangerous behaviour and he insisted that I was the offending party.

I have only started to use Taxis again and this just confirms why Uber is far more superior. As a matter of fact I called Uber and they promptly picked us up and a very pleasant driver. Don't waste your time with Cabs, Uber are far more polite, timely and professional. You should be removed from driving...Y174B

So a few minutes ago, your cab #99 picked up two shoplifters at Lululemon in Kits. I saw the theft and came up to his driver-side window. He rolled down the window and I asked him not to leave, as his passengers just robbed the store. He shrugged, rolled up the window, and drove away with the thieves.

Which would make any reasonable person wonder if Yellow Cab is in on the action. Either way, a disgusting disregard for the law, and by giving thieves an easy getaway, a shameful disregard for the safety of our community. Your driver in car #99 should be ashamed of himself.

Really loosing patience with these guys. I catch a taxi twice a week, in the last month here is a list of not cool stuff I have experienced.

1. Taxi reeked of beer
2. Driver not knowing where to drop me off.
3. My card put through 3 times because that machine was not working.I still need to check I was not conned.
4. Last night the drivers fair charge did not work so after we set off said I had to pay $7
5. Spoken to harshly because the taxi driver cannot find the address.
6, Tonight a 20 minute wait.

Moving to Uber soon I think.

Cab BT 350 (last four digits of license plate; 3222) at 14:17 (2:17 pm) on October 1st. Made an illegal turn onto cambie street. I have attached tye picture of the cab driver making the illegal turn. Your company shouldn't exist. All Yellow Cab does is put the lives of people in danger. This is why you have 2 stars.
